Product Care
Hand wash your cutting board with warm, soapy water and dry it immediately. Do not soak it or put it in the dishwasher. To prevent bacteria growth, you can also sanitize it with a mixture of vinegar and water or a food-safe cutting board cleaner.
We recommend oiling your cutting board or coasters every 4-6 weeks, or whenever the wood appears dry. Use a food-grade mineral oil or beeswax conditioner specifically designed for wood surfaces. Apply a generous amount, let it soak in for a few hours or overnight, and then wipe off the excess.
Yes, our wooden coasters are designed to withstand moderate heat. However, avoid placing extremely hot items directly on them for prolonged periods, as this could damage the finish or the wood.
Gently dust your wooden plaques or awards with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners. For stubborn smudges, use a slightly damp cloth and dry immediately.
Knife marks are a natural part of using a wooden cutting board. To minimize them, use sharp knives and avoid excessive force. You can also lightly sand the surface with fine-grit sandpaper (220-grit or higher) and re-oil it.
For light stains, try a paste of baking soda and water. For more stubborn stains, lightly sand the affected area and re-finish the wood. Always test any cleaning method on an inconspicuous area first.
Avoid extreme temperature and humidity fluctuations. Store your wooden items in a dry, well-ventilated area. Regularly oil cutting boards and coasters to prevent them from drying out. Never leave wooden items soaking in water.
The cleaning method depends on the material. For most PLA or ABS prints, a soft, dry cloth or a slightly damp cloth is sufficient. Avoid harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners. For intricate designs, compressed air or a soft brush can help remove dust from crevices. If needed, mild soapy water can be used, but ensure the item is thoroughly dried afterwards.
It depends on the material. PLA, a common 3D printing material, can warp or deform in high temperatures (above 140°F/60°C) or direct sunlight. ABS is more heat-resistant but can still be affected by prolonged exposure. If your item will be exposed to heat or sunlight, consider materials like PETG or ASA, which are more durable.
Handle your 3D printed items with care. While they can be durable, they are still susceptible to damage from impact or excessive force. Avoid dropping them or placing heavy objects on them. For items that experience friction or wear, consider applying a protective coating or using a more durable material in the future. Proper storage away from extreme temperatures and humidity will also help extend the lifespan of your 3D printed items.
